The conference on Facilities Management is organised annually by The African Facilities Management Association (AFMA), Africa’s leading FM professional body. This year’s conference has been organized in partnership with the Department of Real Estate, Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at the University of Nairobi in Kenya between 16th and 18th November, 2023 at the University of Nairobi’s Taifa Hall.
The goal is to deepen capacity in facilities management through enhanced access to knowledge, information exchange, networking and knowledge sharing among members and partners. The annual conference provides a platform for showcasing emerging practices, technologies and enhanced networking.
The 3rd Annual African Facilities Management Association has adopted the running theme that is: Accelerating Facilities Management across Africa towards Sustainability. It is anticipated the adoption of this theme will generate greater acceptance and adoption of facilities management by learning institutions as well as the growth of professional associations across the continent.
